On 22 May 2026, at the Liaison Forum meeting with social partners, the Commission presented recent developments on Gender Equality Strategy, the Roadmap for Women’s Rights and the implementation of the Pay Transparency Directive. It also recalled the toolkit on gender-neutral job evaluation and classification developed with the European Institute for Gender Equality to support the Directive’s implementation. It stressed the importance of social partner involvement in its implementation across sectors.
